Antonio

Antonio is a sweet, six-month-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love! He was found on the side of a busy highway along with a younger puppy, and after a two-and-a-half-hour rescue effort, he's now looking for his forever home. Antonio is incredibly bonded with the younger puppy and often waits for the puppy to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom before he does. He's a gentle soul who enjoys playing tug-of-war and giving kisses. Antonio also walks well on a leash and loves to shake a paw!

Ideal Home

Antonio is generally good with cats and small dogs. He may bark at larger dogs, but this seems to stem from a desire to protect the younger puppy he was rescued with.

Ongoing Health

Antonio has been dewormed and has an upcoming appointment for vaccinations on Saturday, June 20th.

Training & Support

Antonio is already learning to walk on a leash and enjoys the activity. His unique bond with the younger puppy means he mirrors the puppy's behaviors, which is something to be aware of in his new home.
