Ideal Home
George would love to have dog siblings to play with, as he's very dog-friendly and enjoys rough-and-rowdy play. However, he could also be a happy only dog if his humans are committed to keeping him engaged and active. A home without cats is ideal, as his playful nature can be a bit overwhelming for them. If he were to live with cats, they would need safe spaces to retreat, and he would need a playful dog companion to help redirect his energy. Older children who can handle his enthusiastic play and occasional excited hops would be the best fit for this energetic pup. George can thrive in an apartment with an active family or a home with a yard for zooming.

Training & Support
George is still very much a puppy and comes with a lot of happy, bouncy energy. He walks beautifully on leash and checks in with his handler, making him a wonderful companion for adventures. Continued training will help him channel his excitement, and his eagerness to engage makes him a joy to work with.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page for adopters. You can arrange pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters.
