Sully is a sweet and gentle soul with a heart full of love. This approximately 3–4-year-old, 50 lb Labrador mix has a congenital hip condition. After evaluation by a specialist, surgery is unfortunately not an option, meaning Sully needs a calm, low-activity lifestyle and cannot remain standing for long periods. Despite his condition, Sully enjoys car rides very much, behaving wonderfully and truly enjoying the scenery. He is very social and friendly, showing trust easily and enjoying the company of people and other dogs, though he's not overly fond of constant physical contact. He's a pleasant, easygoing boy with a beautiful smile that makes him look like the happiest dog in the world. Sully is incredibly easy to love and will love his family just as deeply, needing a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably, receive lots of affection, and live without the need for much exercise.

Sully is not house-trained. He is an intelligent dog and would benefit from a trainer or a family experienced in dog behavior and training. Patience and understanding are crucial when dealing with rescued dogs, as they may have experienced trauma and need time to adjust.

Transportation
Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip if adopted. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport process includes scheduled trips (3-4 per year), a contracted transport company that collects pets in Mexico, and delivery across the border into Texas for US adoptions or to the nearest US-Canada border for Canadian adoptions. You will receive real-time updates in a private Facebook Messenger group.
