Morty Mello is a 6-year-old, 75 lb pittie mix with a heart of gold and the relaxed demeanor of a seasoned napper. He's a true sweetheart, a gentle giant with a teddy bear face and a personality as cozy as a throw pillow. Morty loves nothing more than to simply exist, making him the perfect companion for anyone who appreciates a low-key lifestyle. He's not driven by high-energy play but finds joy in quiet companionship and soaking up the sun.
Ideal Home
Morty would thrive in a home with another calm, similarly-sized dog who enjoys lounging alongside him. If a canine companion isn't in the cards, Morty is perfectly content on his own, as he doesn't require another dog to meet his energy needs. He would also do best in a home without cats. A backyard for sunbathing and exploring scents would be a bonus, but he'd also be happy in an apartment, as he's quiet in his crate and walks beautifully on leash.

Transportation
Morty is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
