Spencer

Meet Spencer, a spirited "jack rat" terrier mix who is approximately 2-3 years old! Spencer came to us from animal control after his previous owners were unable to care for him. After receiving some much-needed veterinary attention, Spencer is now ready to find his forever home. He's got a huge personality and doesn't realize he's a small dog – he's afraid of nothing and is super outgoing! Spencer would be a fantastic companion for an active household that enjoys long walks and adventures. He's good with other dogs, provided they have a slow introduction, as he sees himself as a big dog in a little body. Older children would also be suitable, but we don't have information about his compatibility with cats. Spencer is a very smart boy who has learned commands with ease, and we're confident he'll make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.

Ideal Home

Spencer would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his adventurous spirit and love for long walks. He does well with other dogs after a slow introduction and is also suitable for homes with older children.

Ongoing Health

Spencer is up to date with all his shots, has been neutered, and is currently on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Spencer is already crate trained and housebroken, and he learns commands quickly. He's a smart pup who will likely continue to excel with consistent guidance.

Spencer is located in Dawson, GA. We allow out-of-state adoptions, but we require in-person adoption and do not transport or ship pets.
