Zola is a beautiful, affectionate, and loyal 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighs about 64 pounds. She's spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her shots. Zola is an outgoing girl whose tail starts wagging the moment she sees company! She loves meeting new people, going on walks, and exploring all the exciting new scents the world has to offer. Whether she's stretching her legs with playful runs or darting happily around the house, her fun, joyful energy is contagious! Zola is house and crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is wonderfully loyal, true to her Shepherd roots. She does great with other dogs and would make an amazing outdoor adventure partner, then happily come inside to relax and cozy up with her person. Zola and her companion Zalla were sadly found in a rural area, but their rescuer couldn't bear to leave them behind. She scooped them up and gave them a second chance at love. While Zola is believed to be a German Shepherd mix and possibly related to Zalla, one thing is certain: she's absolutely beautiful inside and out. Zola is loving, kind, and ready to become a cherished member of a forever family.

Transportation

Zola is located near Houston, TX. Freedom Street Rescue is a foster-to-adopt rescue that has been successfully placing dogs in the east and north for about 12 years. If approved to adopt, Zola will travel to her new family, and after a month, if all is well, the adoption is finalized.
