Meet Rex Oswald!
This adorable 6-year-old tan Yorkie mix weighs just 9 pounds and has the biggest, most soulful puppy-dog eyes you've ever seen. Rex came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he's an incredibly sweet, affectionate little guy who absolutely loves people. He thrives on attention and is happiest when he's the center of it all. Whether he's soaking up pets, cuddling in your lap, or handing out kisses, Rex is always ready to share his love. Rex also appears to be cat-friendly. While he shows some curiosity toward cats, he's calm and respectful around them and far more interested in getting affection from the people nearby. One of Rex's most endearing quirks is his little whines. When other dogs get loud, he often seems to "tell them off" with a few gentle complaints of his own. He'll also occasionally let out a tiny whine when he feels he's not receiving the attention he deserves-a reminder that this little guy loves being adored. With his adorable face, cuddly personality, and endless affection, Rex is ready to find a family that will give him all the love he craves. In return, he'll provide loyal companionship, sweet kisses, and plenty of snuggles.
Ideal Home
For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
Ongoing Health
Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Rex is currently working on his leash-walking skills and potty training. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, he'll benefit from a consistent routine and positive reinforcement in his adoptive home to help him continue making great progress.
