Austin is a 5-pound senior Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a huge personality and a heart full of love. He’s a professional cuddler, devoted little shadow, and affectionate companion who loves being held, carried, cuddled, and close to his person.

Ideal Home

Austin needs a patient, understanding home that will respect his boundaries and embrace his quirks. He can enjoy gentle doggy friends, and resident dog introductions are required. He isn’t a fan of stairs, and his front right paw seems sensitive.

Ongoing Health

Austin currently wears a diaper and is not housebroken yet. His eye infection is improving. He may grumble when uncomfortable, so his signals and personal boundaries should be respected.

Training & Support

Austin will need patience, consistency, and a regular potty routine as he works toward becoming housebroken.
