Lucky

Meet Lucky, an adorable 9-year-old, 6-pound Chihuahua with a heart full of love to give! Lucky came to us after the heartbreaking loss of her owner and has since received much-needed care for some eye issues that were causing discomfort. She's feeling so much better now and is a champ at taking her eye drops, which she will need for the rest of her life. This sweet girl is a classic Chihuahua – happiest when curled up in your lap or following you from room to room. Lucky forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close to them whenever she can. Because Lucky had very limited socialization in her previous life, she can be very fearful in new environments and around unfamiliar people. She will need a patient, understanding home willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, Lucky’s loving personality truly shines!

Ideal Home

Lucky would do best in a quieter home without children. Small dogs are okay for her.

Ongoing Health

Lucky will need eye drops several times a day for the rest of her life.

Training & Support

Lucky can be very fearful in new environments and around unfamiliar people due to limited socialization. She will need a patient and understanding home willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and settle in at her own pace.
