Tyson

Tyson is a resilient soul who has overcome incredible hardship to find his happy ending. Once abandoned and mistreated, he's now a healthy, happy dog eager to embrace life's joys. He loves to run freely and experience kind touches, things he never had before. Tyson has learned to walk calmly on a leash with a head halter, master commands like "sit" and "stay," and play gently with other dogs, particularly females. He's also crate trained, shows no signs of food aggression, and flourishes in a structured, caring environment. Tyson still has a lot of pent-up energy from his past, but he's learning to channel it through play, walks, and building connections.

Ideal Home

An active home with plenty of opportunities for walks or runs, or a spacious yard where he can run free. He also gets along well with other dogs, though he tends to prefer female companions. Tyson would do best in a patient and loving home with older children or teenagers who can support his ongoing journey of trust and discovery.

Ongoing Health

Tyson has fully recovered from past health issues, including skin conditions, eye problems, a weakened immune system, and heartworms.

Training & Support

Tyson is a well-trained dog who walks calmly on a leash with a head halter, knows "sit" and "stay," and plays appropriately with other dogs. He is crate trained and has no food aggression. He thrives in a structured and compassionate environment.

Transportation

Tyson is currently being fostered by his trainer in Conroe, Texas. Out-of-state transport can be arranged.
