George (TX)

George is a handsome male Labrador mix who was rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates he was about 1 year old when he came into our care in November 2021. George is a bundle of pure joy and loves to play! He's fantastic with people, dogs, cats, and kids, and would truly love a canine sibling to share his adventures with. He's also a speed demon and loves to zoom around, especially when there are other dogs to invite to play. He's so eager to make friends that he might jump a little to say hello, as if to exclaim "FRIEND!" This smart boy knows "sit" and will happily show off his skills when a treat is involved. George is crate trained and happily settles in when his foster family leaves the house. He also enjoys car rides and is a big fan of his toys.

Ideal Home

George would do best in a home with a dog sibling and a fenced-in yard where he can safely play and explore.

Ongoing Health

George is current on age-appropriate vaccines.

Training & Support

George is crate trained and knows the command "sit." He can be very enthusiastic when greeting other dogs and may jump to initiate play.
