Buddy is a 7-year-old Retriever/Black Mouth Cur mix who's ready to be the loyal, loving family dog you've been looking for! At 58 pounds, he's the perfect size for couch cuddles and neighborhood strolls, and he's got the kind of gentle, happy-go-lucky personality that makes everyone feel at home. Buddy is a friendly boy who truly enjoys attention and being near his people. He will happily follow you around like your faithful companion and would love nothing more than to be part of your daily routine. He also does great with other dogs and gets along well with the dogs in his foster home. Buddy has a hilarious habit when it's time to go outside; he must bring a toy with him. He will grab an antler or toy and proudly carry it out! He loves toys so much and can entertain himself like a champ. Buddy has a wonderful temperament and an easygoing, family-friendly vibe. He is affectionate, gentle, and has a big heart. He is also smart and has already learned "sit," and because he is food-motivated, training is a breeze. Buddy is the kind of dog who wants to do well and make you proud. His adoption fee is $300.
