Hi Buffalo! I'm Nala, and I'm ready to find my forever family!
My name is Nala, and I'm a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a big personality packed into my tiny 13-pound body! I made my way to Buffalo to find my happily ever after, and while I may be small, don't let my size fool you — I run the show at my foster home alongside my 70-pound foster sister, Rey, and my 100-pound foster brother, Chewy! My foster mom says I'm the ultimate cuddle bug and professional nap buddy. If you're looking for someone to snuggle up with after a long day, I'm your girl! I'm also doing an amazing job with crate training and potty training. I've only had one accident since arriving in foster care, and I'm very proud of that accomplishment. When I'm not snuggling, you'll usually find me chasing and wrestling with my sister Rey. After our play sessions, we like to cool off by sharing a bowl of water and crunching on a few ice cubes together. I love toys of all kinds, but if I'm being honest, my favorite game is sneaking off with my foster mom's shoes and making her chase me in a game of tag! I'm a smart cookie, too! I learned "sit" and "down" on my very first day in foster care, and I can't wait to learn even more. Treats are definitely the way to my heart, and I'm always excited to show off my skills and learn new tricks.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a family that will continue helping me grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be while giving me plenty of love, adventures, and cuddle time.
Ongoing Health
All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
I'm doing an amazing job with crate training and potty training, with only one accident since arriving in foster care. I've learned "sit" and "down" and am eager to learn more tricks with the help of treats!
