Howdy, partner! I'm Jamie, a 1-year-old mix with a heart as big as Texas and a tail that never stops wagging. My journey started a little rough, tucked away in a garage with my siblings, feeling a bit shy and unsure about the world. But then, a wonderful foster dad showed me that life is actually pretty amazing! Now, you'll find me strutting my stuff at breweries, coffee shops, and anywhere my foster dad goes. I've discovered I'm a bit of a star, and I absolutely adore meeting new people! I've come a long way from that timid pup, and now I'm the friendly face who greets everyone with a happy wag.
I'm a 60-pound shadow who wants to be by your side, whether it's for couch cuddles, running errands, or embarking on an adventure. I've got the perfect balance of energy – I love a good romp with my stuffed pony or a game of fetch, but I'm also perfectly content just chilling with you. I'm a gentleman on leash, know "sit" and "stay," and I'm house-trained and comfortable with a doggy door. Crate-trained too, though snuggling up next to you is my preferred sleeping arrangement! I absolutely love other dogs and enjoy playing with them. What's really special is that even when other dogs haven't been so nice to me, I've never retaliated – I truly don't have a mean bone in my body.
Ideal Home
I'm looking for a home where I can be a cherished part of the family. Ideally, someone who is home often or has a yard where I can hang out and explore. I haven't been tested with cats, so that's a mystery we'd have to solve together.
