About Oliver

Meet Oliver, or as we lovingly call him, Ollie!

Ollie's story is one of resilience and transformation. He arrived with us in a tough spot, battling painful mange that left him nearly hairless and on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. Thanks to the kindness of a volunteer, a dedicated foster, and our rescue's commitment, Ollie embarked on a remarkable healing journey. Now, months later, he's a handsome, happy, and vibrant boy! Most of his beautiful fur has grown back, though a charming bald patch around his neck and shoulders remains – a testament to his past and a unique part of his charm. Watching his glow-up has been truly heartwarming.

Ollie is a sweetheart, a true "golden child" according to his foster family, and pretty much perfect! He's wonderful with everyone he meets, including children, and has a particular fondness for other dogs. He's also mastered potty training and is happily kennel-trained. His favorite activities include playing with his canine pals, enjoying his toys, going for walks, embarking on car rides, and simply relaxing.

Ideal Home

Ollie would thrive in a home that appreciates his loving nature and enjoys his playful spirit. He's already shown he's fantastic with kids and other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ollie requires weekly baths to maintain his skin health. These are quick, easy, and he's a trooper throughout the process. The bald patch around his neck and shoulders may be permanent, but it's a part of what makes him so special.

Training & Support

Ollie is a well-behaved boy, already potty and kennel trained. He loves to play, chew on toys, go for walks and car rides, and is happy to chill with his people.
