Stewie is a 9-year-old, 55-pound boxer-hound mix who has truly mastered the art of lounging. He enjoys curling up by the fireplace, but he also has bursts of energy and can be seen galloping through the woods as if training for the hound Olympics! Stewie is a heat-seeking snuggle bug who thrives in cozy corners, loves soft blankets, and prefers a climate where winter is more of a suggestion. He's a dog who owns sweaters and rocks them proudly! Indoors, Stewie is easygoing: he's potty trained, crate trained, not destructive, and generally happy to chill. Give him a marrow bone and a sunny window, and he's content for hours.
Stewie absolutely adores people and will greet you with a helicopter tail! He leans into you and loves kids, adults, strangers, and UPS drivers. He does need to be the only pet in the home, as he's made it clear he's a people dog, not a dog's dog. He has a high prey drive and takes outdoor adventures seriously. He'd do best in a quiet, country-style home where he can enjoy yard time without surprise encounters with neighbor pups. A secure fence is non-negotiable, as he's not subtle about chasing things he sees.
