Roo is looking for a special family who understands her intelligence and drive, making her experience with cattle dogs a requirement. She's not the best fit for first-time owners or apartment living, as she thrives in an active environment that provides ample physical and mental stimulation. Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained, though she needs a little encouragement to get into her crate, she settles quickly once inside and is not destructive when kept busy.
Ideal Home
Roo would absolutely thrive in a home with experienced cattle dog owners who lead an active lifestyle and can provide plenty of exercise and enrichment. A fenced yard is a must, as apartments are not suitable for her. She would also greatly benefit from having another playful, energetic dog to be her companion, as this helps keep her engaged and provides an outlet for her boundless energy.
