Dillinger (Dilli)

Meet Dillinger, a sweet boy who traveled all the way from a vet clinic in Mexico to find his forever family! While he may start off a little shy, once he knows he's safe, he transforms into the most affectionate, cuddly companion you could ask for. He is a "velvet dog" who thrives on physical affection and is looking for a dedicated snuggle buddy to keep your lap warm.

Dillinger would do best in a home that understands the "slow and steady" approach. He needs a patient family that will celebrate his small victories, like the first time he initiates play or walks confidently down a new block.

Dillinger is already crate and potty trained, making his transition into a home much smoother. He is currently working on his leash skills and new environments can be a little intimidating for him, so he's looking for a patient human who will lead with positive reinforcement. He does very well with other dogs and would be happy as an only dog or would thrive with a confident "big brother or sister" to show him the ropes. He is slowly and gently learning to trust kids.
