Ruckus (Community Assist)

Hi, I'm Ruckus! I'm a sweet and loving pitbull/lab mix who is just over a year old. My birthday is April 26, 2023! I was found abandoned during a terrible storm and have had a rough start, but I'm ready to find my forever family. I absolutely adore people of all ages and love to shower them with kisses and cuddles. While I'm not a fan of kennels because I get lonely and have separation anxiety, I'm a quick learner and love showing off my tricks for treats! I'm house-trained and have a good understanding of basic commands like "sit," "paw," and "down." I also enjoy playing fetch, though I'm still perfecting the "give it back" part!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a home where I can be the only pet. While I love people, I can be a little timid and growl at other dogs due to past bullying experiences.

Ongoing Health

I've been to the vet and have received all my initial vaccinations, with a couple of boosters recommended. I've also been tested and am free of intestinal parasites and heartworms. I'm currently on Simparica Trio to prevent heartworm, fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites.

Training & Support

I'm a very teachable boy who loves to learn new tricks for tasty rewards! I'm already house-trained and have a good grasp of basic commands.
