Triton

Triton is a sweet boy who ended up as a stray. He had a bit of a rough start with some matting, but thankfully, a kind rescue partner stepped in to help him get cleaned up. Triton's unique walk is due to a birth defect where both his femurs are curved, causing his knees to turn outward. Despite this, he gets around quite well and walks on his feet! Due to the wear and tear on his knees, he already has arthritis and is on daily anti-inflammatories. While he may need a wheelchair in the future, Triton is very mobile on his own for now. Walks aren't his favorite, but he absolutely adores belly rubs and craves being with his people. He's a mellow dog with occasional bursts of playful energy. Dinner is his most favorite time of day! Triton enjoys playing with toys but also likes to chew them, so he needs to avoid stuffed toys. However, he happily entertains himself with a good chew bone. Ideal Home

A home where Triton can be with his people and receive plenty of belly rubs. He needs owners who understand his arthritis and medication needs.

Training & Support

Triton needs supervision around toys as he likes to chew and eat them; he should only have chew bones.
