Gabby (20240426-08) **Part of a Bonded Pair**

Gabby is a one-year-old, 60lb female American Bulldog mix with beautiful tan and white markings. She's a super sweet girl who loves to give kisses and has absolutely stunning eyes that photos just don't do justice! Gabby was found as a stray in rural Kentucky and, along with her bonded partner Brunet, deserves a family to call her own. She's been in Ontario for a couple of months and is ready to find her forever home.

Gabby is a golden girl when she's with her people. She's not destructive and will drop or leave items if redirected, especially with a disappointed sigh! She enjoys being in the kitchen while you cook, patiently waiting away from the table during mealtimes. She also has a funny habit of hiding her bones in blankets. Gabby is easy to handle, lets you brush her teeth, and takes pills with cheese.

Ideal Home

Gabby would do best in a home with a yard and would prefer to be the only pup, though she enjoys meeting dogs that match her energy level. She cannot live in an apartment. Gabby experiences mild separation anxiety, so a home where someone works from home or can bring her along on outings would be ideal. She is good with women, men, and children, but she is not good with cats.

Ongoing Health

Gabby is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She is sometimes protective of her food around other dogs but is progressing well with foster guidance.

Training & Support

Gabby is house-trained and crate-trained. She walks well on a leash and is not reactive to people or dogs. She also rides well in the car.
