Bernardo would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. He enjoys playtime and would do well with an active family.

Ongoing Health

Bernardo is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is neutered, and has tested negative for heartworm. He receives monthly flea and tick preventative and monthly heartworm preventative (age appropriate), and is regularly dewormed. Bernardo is microchipped.

Training & Support

Bernardo is eager to learn and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

• We require a virtual home visit and a vet reference.
• If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed is required.
• If you have had a pet in the last two years, please provide the name of your previous vet.
• If you have never owned a pet or it has been over two years, please provide a personal reference.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.

Transportation

Bernardo is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment. Transportation may be available to approved adopters. Please inquire when applying.
