Jackson

Meet Jackson! This sweet boy was surrendered to us for owner euthanasia due to owner convenience. When he first arrived, he showed some reactivity on leash with his previous owner. However, after spending over a year with us, we've discovered that his reactivity seems to be tied to that specific on-leash experience. In every other situation, Jackson is a loving, happy, silly, and playful companion! We're not sure what caused his past anxiety, but he's blossomed into a wonderful dog with us and truly deserves a happily ever after.

Ideal Home

We are looking for an experienced home for Jackson, as he has clearly overcome some past trauma. He is a wonderful dog who is ready to share his love and playful spirit with a patient and understanding family.

Ongoing Health

Jackson is in good health and has no known ongoing medical conditions.

Training & Support

While Jackson has shown great improvement and is no longer reactive in our care, an experienced owner will be best equipped to continue helping him thrive. He is a smart and eager boy who will likely do well with consistent positive reinforcement.
