Hank Reed is a 5-month-old, 17-pound bundle of joy! We believe he's a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, but in rescue, it's always a delightful surprise! Hank is playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. His days are filled with puppy adventures: playing with his siblings, exploring his world, and enjoying plenty of naps. He's a prime example of puppy life – eat, sleep, play, repeat! Hank is ready to bring endless kisses and loyal companionship into your home.
Ideal Home
Hank is a young puppy who needs a family committed to his training, socialization, and all the dedication that puppyhood requires. Routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization are key to helping him develop into a well-rounded adult dog. We require adoptive families to commit to crate training Hank from the moment he arrives home, which will aid in potty training, energy management, and his overall development.
Ongoing Health
Hank is a healthy young pup and his adoption fee includes all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea prevention, a heartworm preventative injection, and a microchip. He will also come with a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Hank is still very young and will benefit greatly from consistent training and socialization. We pride ourselves on providing excellent personality and behavioral information to help ensure he's the right fit for your family. Our team of trainers on staff assess and modify behavior as needed, creating individualized plans to help prepare dogs for their future families, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He will also receive a free private online dog training session with GoodPup upon adoption.

Transporation
Hank is currently in Texas, but we facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. You can track his journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Please note that Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
