Rex

Rex is a charming 2-3 year old Chiweenie mix who is ready to find his forever family! He came to us from a hoarding situation in Texas with many other dogs, and after being fully vetted, he's made his way to Colorado to start his new life.

His foster momma says Rex is the most loving little dog and if she could have another, she'd keep him in a heartbeat! He's a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes, cats, and children. Rex loves to stay close to his humans and is always curious about what's going on. While he'd be happy in a home with another dog, it's not a requirement as long as he's showered with love and snuggles. Like many dogs from his past situation, Rex can be a little shy and take a few days to warm up to new people. Patience and a gentle approach will help him come out of his shell and truly blossom into the perfect companion. He's already showing great progress with leash and potty training!

Ideal Home

Rex would do well in a home with another dog, but it's not 100% necessary. He needs a family who will be patient as he warms up to new humans, giving him a few days to feel comfortable and show his true personality.
