Tucker Teddy is an absolutely adorable, approximately 1-year-old Lab mix with a heart of gold and a face that could melt anyone. He's a rescue with a sweet, gentle nature that will capture your heart. Tucker Teddy has a unique way of showing affection – he's not overly demanding but will lean in for pets, curl up beside you, and quietly follow you, always making sure you feel loved and connected. He's the perfect blend of companionship and independence, wanting to be part of your life without always being the center of attention.
Ideal Home
Tucker Teddy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and explore. He would do best in a home that can offer him the space to settle in at his own pace, with gentle exposure to new experiences. He's not suited for a chaotic environment with constant loud, fast movements, but he adapts well when things calm down.
Ongoing Health
Tucker Teddy is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Tucker Teddy is still gaining confidence and learning about the world. While he's friendly with other dogs and has shown to be respectful of cats, a confident, playful dog sibling would greatly help him build his confidence. He can be a little hesitant around new things, like the vacuum, but he is a quick learner and will continue to blossom with gentle guidance. He has a foundation in crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transporation
Tucker Teddy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
