Summer is a female English Bulldog Mix puppy looking for a committed home ready for the time, patience, and guidance that puppyhood requires.

Ideal Home

Summer will need a puppy-proofed home and should not be crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time until she is older. Puppies may scratch and nip, so households with small children should consider whether they are prepared for these behaviors.

Ongoing Health

Summer’s age-appropriate vaccinations will be up to date at adoption. She is too young for heartworm testing, which is performed at 6 months. She will be spayed prior to adoption, and her adoption donation supports pre-adoption veterinary care, microchipping, deworming, and applicable flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives. Vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter’s responsibility.

Training & Support

Summer is not yet housetrained or microchipped. Consistent training will be important, and her adopter should be prepared to provide the time and structure she needs as she grows.
