Diamond might be even more awesome as a full-figured senior gal! She's a pro at splooting, loves a good roll in the grass, and is always up for belly rubs. Diamond can rock a pj set and still has moves left in her playbook! This sweet girl is back with us after eight years, and we're so happy to give her all the love and comfort she deserves.

Ideal Home

A cozy home where Diamond can enjoy her senior years with plenty of opportunities for splooting, grassy rolls, and belly rubs.

Diamond is a senior dog and will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

Training & Support

Diamond is not house-trained. We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions to any resident dogs after a period of decompression.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).

Transporation

Diamond is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control, 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals until 7pm.
