Mila

Mila is a 2-year-old female German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love! She was rescued from the Houston pound about six months ago with the intention of training her as a service dog. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and a kind Samaritan stepped in to care for her. Mila is incredibly attentive, sweet, and absolutely adores people. She's a high-energy girl who would thrive with an active family. While she loves hugs, she can be a bit too much for very young children. Mila is a treat-motivated learner and walks nicely on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs but prefers gentle, calm playmates. She shows no signs of destructive behavior and enjoys following rules. When you give her your attention, Mila is all ears, and when it's time to relax, she's a snuggly couch potato.

Ideal Home

Mila needs an active home that can keep up with her energy levels. She would do best in a household with older children due to her playful enthusiasm.
