Lily - Forever Foster wanted "Deaf"

Lily is an 8-year-old, 79-pound sweetheart with a heart full of love to give. She was adopted by a loving owner five years ago and was devoted to him until his passing. Though she returned to rescue after her owner's wife could no longer care for her, Lily is a resilient dog who bonds deeply with her people. When she feels safe and happy, she has the sweetest smile that will melt your heart. She was once found a wonderful home but is now looking for her true forever family.

Ideal Home

Lily needs to be the only pet in the home. A quieter environment would be ideal, perhaps with someone who works from home or a retiree who can offer consistent companionship and support.

Ongoing Health

Lily is deaf and experiences separation anxiety, which can manifest as barking when she feels worried, stressed, or uncertain. However, a professional trainer believes these are "fixable issues" with commitment and consistency. Through the Forever Foster Program, Road to Home Rescue will cover all approved medical expenses beyond routine wellness care for the rest of Lily's life.

Training & Support

Lily's separation anxiety can be managed with commitment, consistency, structure, and support. A professional trainer has generously offered to work directly with Lily's future adopter, providing guidance and tools to help manage her anxiety and build her confidence.
