Meet Polly, a 38lb Cattle Dog Retriever mix with the heart of a puppy and the sweetest personality! She’s spayed, vaccinated, and fully up to date on all of her preventatives, making her ready to head straight into her forever home. Polly has a gentle, go-with-the-flow nature and loves being part of whatever her people are doing. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and loves being close to her humans. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly once she feels safe. Polly is a wonderful dog who will thrive in just about any home and has so much love to give. She’ll make a devoted best friend with a little time to settle in.

Ideal Home

Polly would love a home where she can be part of the family's activities. She has done well with kids aged 6 and up. We have no history on cats.

Polly is spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on all preventatives.

Training & Support

Polly is fully house-trained and crate-trained for up to six hours. She does well in the car and has no issues with resource guarding or food aggression. She is currently working on her leash manners and may pull sometimes, but she's easy to manage. Like many young dogs, Polly is still learning the rules of home life and will need a patient adopter who can continue to guide her. She should be crated when unsupervised to prevent her from getting into things. Consistency and routine will help her continue to blossom.

Transporation

Polly is currently located with our rescue partners. Transports run every few weeks and she can be on the next available transport once approved.
