Meet Jake! This handsome, approximately one-year-old, 45-pound chocolate brindle boy is in his teenage years and is brimming with curiosity, athleticism, and personality. Jake came to us working on his confidence. New environments and people can be a lot for him, and he likes to take his time to process things. He's not shy, but rather cautious, carefully considering new situations before engaging. Jake thrives with people who are patient and willing to earn his trust.
Once Jake feels secure, his true personality shines through! He's a natural athlete who loves to be active and play. He's a whiz with puzzle toys and takes playtime very seriously, even if his unique paw-catching technique is a little unconventional. Jake is also incredibly affectionate and loves to give kisses. Be prepared for enthusiastic greetings – he's still learning the nuances of polite hellos, offering playful nibbles rather than gentle pecks. When he's truly content, his adorable little tongue peeks out, melting hearts everywhere. Jake has the potential to be an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
