Macaroon

Macaroon is a delightful 4-year-old, 55-pound Lab/Terrier mix with a beautiful brindle coat and warm amber/brown eyes. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Houston and is now ready for a second chance at a loving home. Macaroon is a well-behaved girl who already knows her basic manners – she's house, leash, and crate trained! She’s a social butterfly who loves meeting new people, always greeting them with a happy smile and a wagging tail. Macaroon is very affectionate and enjoys showering her favorite humans with kisses. She’s also a smart cookie who is motivated by treats and will happily sit on command! In her foster home, she’s been a fantastic companion to other dogs, even helping more timid pups gain confidence. After a good romp outside, Macaroon’s ideal way to relax is by snuggling up on the couch for a peaceful nap. She is so eager to find her forever family!

Macaroon would love a home where she can be a cherished companion. She enjoys playing and then relaxing with her family.

Ongoing Health

Macaroon is spayed and vaccinated. She has no known special health needs at this time.

Training & Support

Macaroon is house, leash, and crate trained and knows how to "sit" for a treat. She is a social dog who can help shy dogs build confidence.
