Nova

Nova is a sweet, sensitive, and resilient girl who has overcome a difficult past. She was found as a stray in terrible condition and needed significant grooming, spay surgery, and dental care. Despite her past, Nova has so much love to give and is happiest when she's curled up in a lap or snuggled beside her favorite person. She's a true lap dog who thrives on attention and quiet time. Nova is also a great groomer, as she showed when she enjoyed grooming the cat in her foster home.

Ideal Home

Nova would do best in a quiet, lower-traffic home where she can feel safe and secure. She would prefer to be the only dog in the household, as she has shown resource guarding behaviors. Nova would do well with children aged 13 and older.

Ongoing Health

Nova has had a shave-down, spay surgery, and dental care. She is otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

Nova is working on building confidence in new situations and around unfamiliar people. She can be vocal when she's unsure or hears something unexpected. She is almost fully house-trained and continues to make great progress with consistency and routine. Her crate training status is unknown.
