Onyx Baby is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 33 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, its always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age.
Ideal Home
Onyx would thrive in a home with a back yard where he can romp around, stretch his legs, play with his toys, and relax in the sun. In all honesty though, he is completely happy being a total couch potato as well. So get ready for lazy Sunday movie marathon snuggles with Onyx because that's what's going to happen. We haven't seen Onyx around kids yet, but we can absolutely test that for you. Based off what we already know about him, we believe he would make a great family dog. He would be happiest with another dog in the home.

Training & Support
Onyx is already so well behaved and according to his foster, already has wonderful house manners too. Onyx comes prepped already knowing a couple of basic commands such as 'sit' and is so gentle when he takes treats. He loves treats, is eager to please, and has already proven he's a smart little boy. Onyx is crate trained and is working on his potty training. His foster reports that he has it down for the most part but when left for long hours he does occasionally have an accident.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
