A little about them

Cody is a sweet, gentle 3-year-old Chiweenie weighing about 16.8 pounds. Rescued from a hoarding situation in Puerto Rico, he is shy and fearful but smart, curious, quiet, and increasingly comfortable. He walks beautifully by your side and is happiest relaxing near his people.

Cody needs a patient adopter who will let him adjust at his own pace. He would do best with another calm, confident dog, as canine companionship helps him feel secure.

Ideal Home

Cody is best suited to a patient home that does not expect immediate affection. Another calm, confident dog is strongly preferred. He needs daily walks, including one or two longer walks to help him manage anxiety and enjoy exploring safely.

Ongoing Health

Cody was treated for heartworm and is doing well. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated with DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies, and was treated with dewormer upon intake.
