Hector was found wandering the streets as a young puppy, all alone and fending for himself. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now in a loving foster home, learning what it means to be cherished while he waits for his forever family. He is a handsome boy, believed to be a Standard Schnauzer, and is approximately 5 months old, weighing about 35 pounds. Hector is up-to-date on vaccines, house-trained, and kennel-trained. He loves children, is great with other dogs, and good with cats. He also walks well on a leash and rides well in a car. Standard Schnauzers are known for being intelligent, loyal, and devoted. They form strong bonds with their families and love to be involved in everyday life. They are playful, athletic, and eager to learn, making them wonderful companions for active households. Schnauzers can also be a good choice for those seeking a more hypoallergenic dog. Because of their intelligence, they thrive with positive training, daily exercise, and plenty of human interaction. They truly love being part of the family and don't do well when left alone for extended periods.
