Meet Maverick, a sweet and well-mannered Husky mix looking for a forever home. His adoption fee has been sponsored, so there is no cost to adopt him.

Maverick came from a large hoarding-case rescue involving approximately 30 Husky mixes in Holland, Michigan. His name was inspired by the movie “Top Gun,” which was playing when the dogs were rescued.

Ideal Home

Maverick is good with other dogs, though a home with female dogs is recommended. He is good with children, but he is not believed to be good with cats and may chase them.

Ongoing Health

Maverick is approximately 4 years old. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and started on preventatives.

Training & Support

Maverick is crate trained, knows some basic commands, and understands the concept of potty training. A plastic crate is recommended instead of a metal wire crate. Accidents can still occur while he adjusts to a new environment.
