Keri

Keri is a sweet and well-mannered lady with a heart of gold, originally from Kuwait. She had a tough start but was rescued and eventually made her way to us. Adopted in 2020, Keri found herself back with us through no fault of her own. She's a significantly overweight girl who needs a gentle nudge towards a healthier lifestyle. While she's generally good with dogs her own size, she's not a fan of yippy small dogs and would prefer to coexist peacefully, or not at all. Keri is also not a cat person. What she truly desires is a loving owner who understands her needs.

Ideal Home

Keri would thrive with a moderately lazy owner who can commit to one or two walks a day and ensure she's not overfed. She's looking for a devoted companion, someone who enjoys quiet time and a loyal friend by their side. She would prefer a home without small, yippy dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Keri is significantly overweight, and while part of this is due to a thyroid condition, she also needs a regulated diet and more exercise. Her ideal weight is in the mid-40-pound range.

Training & Support

Keri is an exceedingly well-mannered dog who knows many commands. Her primary need is a consistent routine for diet and exercise to help her reach a healthy weight.
