Honey Skye is a 7-month-old Husky/Lab mix with a heart as sweet as her name. She's a shy girl at first, but with a little patience and a gentle voice, she blossoms into a devoted and affectionate companion. Honey forms deep bonds and loves to lean in for cuddles and follow her favorite people around. She absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine sibling to play and learn with. Honey also has a fun, playful side that comes out when she's comfortable, enjoying toys and games, but she's also a pro at chilling and will happily snuggle up for naps. She's a calm, easygoing soul looking for her person and a safe place to call home.

Ideal Home

Honey would do best in a home that understands she may need time to adjust and is willing to offer patience and kindness. A home with a confident canine companion would be ideal for her.

Ongoing Health

Honey is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP vaccination with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Honey is a bit shy when first meeting new people and may need time to adjust. Her foster family has worked on crate training, potty training, and leash walking to help prepare her for her forever home.

Transportation

Honey is currently fostered in Portland, Oregon. We facilitate adoptions nationwide with our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
