Nala is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs around 46 pounds. She's a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion with an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. Nala enjoys playing with other dogs, showing a fun and playful side before happily settling down. She's been great with smaller dogs, showing good social awareness. She's completely non-reactive on walks and has excellent leash manners. Nala is incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with children, having lived with kids as young as 5. She's fully house-trained and does well in her crate, though she may bark or cry for a few minutes when first left alone. Nala is very smart, eager to please, and knows several commands. She loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, and navigates stairs with ease. She greets everyone with kindness and her foster has not even heard her bark! Nala is an affectionate, intelligent, and gentle dog ready to become someone's loyal best friend.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy a daily walk and plenty of time with her people. While she'd likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, she doesn't require one.

Training & Support
Nala is house-trained and crate-trained. She may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, but she settles down quickly. Her foster expects this mild separation anxiety to continue improving with a consistent routine. She knows several commands and responds well to verbal cues.

Transporation
Nala is currently located in Houston, Texas. She can be transported once an adopter is approved. Transport is included in the adoption donation.
