Boone

Boone is a 6-year-old handsome gentleman with quite the life story. He once battled a serious fungal infection from inhaling spores, and after extensive treatment, he showed incredible resilience and pulled through! Boone also previously participated in our Camp K-9 program and was a favorite of our staff. He found a home in 2023, but unfortunately, due to his owner's relocation and housing restrictions, he has returned to us. Boone is available to find a new loving home, and while he gets along wonderfully with his companion Sammy, he can also be adopted on his own.

Ideal Home

Boone would thrive in a home with a sunny spot for naps, a yard or walking path for sniffing adventures, and people who appreciate life's simple joys. We are still evaluating his compatibility with children and will provide updates as we learn more.

Ongoing Health

Boone has fully recovered from his past fungal infection.

Training & Support

Boone has shown positive interest in other dogs through fences and glass barriers. We can cat-test him upon request.
