About Pip

Pip arrived at our rescue in July 2025, alongside Poppy and Lil Bit, after being rescued from a hoarding situation where she endured years of neglect. When she first came to us, Pip suffered from severe skin issues and frequent straining to urinate. A veterinary visit revealed large bladder stones that required surgical removal. Since her surgery, Pip has truly blossomed! We're unsure about the cause of her ear condition, but it doesn't seem to cause her any discomfort, and her skin has healed beautifully, indicating she's feeling much better. Pip is a true Frenchie, embracing her breed's desire to be the center of attention. While she gets along with her current male Chihuahua companions, she would likely thrive in a home as the sole canine. She is not a good fit for homes with cats. However, we are open to introductions with resident dogs, as she can be quite particular and may surprise us! Pip is absolutely obsessed with toys and stuffies. She enjoys playing fetch, but be prepared for a trade-off, as she rarely relinquishes a toy without receiving another in exchange. Pip is a character who keeps us all entertained with her antics and brings joy and laughter to our days.

Ideal Home

Pip would likely do best in a single-dog home. She is not suited for homes with cats or young children.

Ongoing Health

Pip underwent surgery to remove large bladder stones. Her skin has healed from previous neglect. Her ear condition is of unknown origin but does not appear to bother her.

Training & Support

Pip enjoys playing fetch but will require a trade for toys. While we don't guarantee house training, please inquire for more specific information on Pip's progress.
