Dio

Meet Dio! This handsome, approximately 3-year-old Bully Breed mix is the total package – smart, sweet, and seriously snuggly. Dio has been patiently waiting at the shelter for over a year, and it's time this well-mannered boy found his forever home. He's a rockstar when it comes to house manners, being housebroken, calm, and quiet indoors. Dio knows all the basics like sit, down, shake, and rollover, and he's eager to please. He's been on a few "slumber buddy" sleepovers with volunteers and was a perfect gentleman every time, proving himself to be a respectful, loving companion always up for a cuddle session.

Ideal Home

Dio would thrive in a country setting or a home with a fenced yard in town where he can enjoy his surroundings and get plenty of fresh air and sunshine. While he can be selective with other dogs and cats, he has done well with thoughtful introductions and could potentially be the only pet or share his home with a calm companion.

Ongoing Health

All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Dio is already housebroken and knows basic commands such as sit, down, shake, and rollover. He is eager to please and has proven to be a well-behaved houseguest during sleepovers.
