Allie is a resilient girl looking for a comfortable, loving home! Not long ago, she could hardly lift her head and struggled to walk due to the effects of untreated valley fever. Today, she’s a happy, sweet girl who enjoys slow walks and time outdoors! Allie spent quite a bit of time in a foster home who reported that she is an enthusiastic and loving dog. She has recuperated marvelously, receiving regular medication and meals. She’d do best with a more active person who can take her on shorter walks. She has a lot of energy that she doesn’t know what to do with. Allie is eager to please and would be very receptive to training. She was mostly house-trained in her foster home, loved playing with her crinkly duck toy, and was described as a lovable, quiet girl. A volunteer at the shelter noted that Allie greeted them with wiggles and wags and is a really sweet dog. She was completely unbothered by other dogs barking at her during exit and reentry. Allie is recovering from valley fever and walked pretty slowly (no pulling) and for a short distance, much more interested in sniffing everything than getting exercise. Allie shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
