Beanie (Pretty Girl)

Beanie, also known as Pretty Girl, came to us from a difficult hoarding situation. She had been injured by other dogs, but after a few weeks of healing, her vibrant personality truly began to shine! Beanie is a smart and energetic girl who loves to please, making her a joy to train. She already knows several commands like "sit," "wait," "down," and "kennel-up." She's also learning to be calm during grooming, car rides, and respecting personal space around children. Beanie adores playing fetch with her favorite tennis balls, going for walks, running, and spending time outdoors.

Ideal Home

Beanie would thrive in an active home that enjoys outdoor adventures like running, hiking, biking, and traveling. A family with dogs and children would be wonderful, but if she's the only dog, her people should be prepared to keep her tennis ball supply well-stocked and have plenty of space for fetch! A structured environment will help her continue to do great.

Ongoing Health

Beanie's past injuries from a dog attack have healed beautifully, though she does have some scarring on her legs. She is up-to-date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and microchipped. She has been spayed and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Training & Support

Beanie is mostly housebroken and crate-trained. She is treat-motivated and eager to learn, excelling with positive reinforcement. She is learning to remain calm during grooming, getting in and out of the car, and respecting personal space around children. Her love for fetch and outdoor activities makes training fun and engaging.
