Meet Tilly, a tall and tender Husky with a heart full of hope! Tilly is about 7 months old and is a lanky girl, much like her dad Pedro. She was rescued along with her parents from a difficult situation, and though her parents and siblings were adopted out, Tilly's journey with us began when she was returned to the shelter. She arrived at our sanctuary unsure and a little timid, having only known the backyard breeder and shelter system. But with the love and patience of her foster mom and her pack, Tilly is blossoming! She's learning to trust, approaching for gentle pets and enthusiastically accepting treats. She loves to play with other dogs and is truly coming into her own.

Ideal Home

Tilly is looking for a calm, predictable home where she can continue to build her confidence. She would thrive with confident, playful dogs who can show her the ropes, as she adores playing with other canine companions. A securely fenced backyard is ideal, giving her a safe space to explore and gain independence at her own pace. While she may be a bit shy with new people initially, her quiet sweetness will shine through once she feels safe and secure.

Ongoing Health

Tilly is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, heartworm negative, dewormed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Tilly is still learning to trust humans due to her past experiences. Patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her blossom. She's making great progress with her foster mom and pack, and continued exposure to gentle interactions and playtime will help her thrive.

Tilly is currently located in NC. Transportation to a home in the eastern US is available for approved adopters.
