Copper

Copper is a 10-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer puppy who is a bundle of joy! He's a true "snuggle bug" who loves to be held and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. German Shorthaired Pointers are known for being affectionate, intelligent, and highly energetic. They thrive on human interaction and need about 60-90 minutes of vigorous exercise daily. Because they form such strong bonds with their families, they can experience separation anxiety if left alone too often.

Ideal Home

A home that can provide ample human interaction and consistent daily exercise would be ideal for Copper.

Ongoing Health

Copper will be neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives for his age. He will also receive an additional exam and health certificate from a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Copper will benefit from continued socialization and consistent training to help him grow into a well-adjusted adult.

Transporation

Copper is currently located at our shelter in Lucedale, MS. He is scheduled for transport to the North on July 31st, arriving 1-2 days later at the listed pickup destination. If you wish to pick him up earlier, you would need to arrange your own transportation or fly into Mobile, AL, or Gulfport, MS, where a team member can meet you. You are also welcome to pick up your new puppy in person at our shelter in Lucedale, MS, at no additional cost. Our semi-private transport option has an additional fee of $185.
