Meet Henry – A Gentle Soul with a Playful Spirit!

Henry is a 3-year-old, 58 lb Hound Mix who is as sweet as can be with a heart full of love to give. He was sadly neglected in his past, but his foster parents have showered him with kindness, and he's blossomed into a confident, goofy pup who loves to play and is learning to trust. He bonds deeply once he feels safe, and his silly side truly shines!

Ideal Home

Henry would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard, as his hound nose can lead him on an adventure! He's great with other dogs and cats and would love to have a canine companion to play with. While he's generally good with kids, he would do best in a patient, gentle home where he can warm up at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Henry is neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has made incredible progress and is doing much better, but he can still be a little tense around food due to his past starvation. He's come a long way, though!

Training & Support

Henry is house-trained and crate-trained, and he walks nicely on a leash. He's not a chaser and enjoys his playtime. Understanding hound behavior and providing routine, affection, and space to sniff and play will help him continue to thrive.

Transportation

Henry is located with his foster family. We assist with coordinating transportation by both land and air whenever feasible.
