Ziggy

Meet Ziggy! This sweet 8-year-old Schnauzer is ready to leave her past behind and find her forever family. Ziggy endured years of neglect, not receiving the veterinary care, inclusion, or affection every dog deserves. Thankfully, a kind neighbor intervened, and after much effort, Ziggy was finally able to be taken to the vet and brought to Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue to start her new chapter. Now, she's healthy, happy, and bursting with love to give.

Ideal Home

Ziggy would love a peaceful home where she can relax and enjoy leisurely walks. She gets along well with other dogs, cats, and respectful children. While she enjoys company, she's past the puppy stage and would prefer a home without boisterous play or overly energetic dogs.

Ongoing Health

Ziggy is healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Ziggy is eager to please and ready to be cherished. With a little patience and lots of love, she'll make a wonderful companion.

Transporation

Ziggy is currently located in an Alabama foster home and will be transported north to the New England area after adoption. Transport is provided by a licensed transporter and is included in the adoption fee.
